Experiments of Alain Aspect

Today I posted an essay on the mind-blowing experiments of Alain Aspect at www.jacob2012.com/essays/aspect_experiment. Aspect’s experiments demonstrate that at the quantum level, the Universe is nonlocal.

For a more complete description of the Aspect experiments, see http://www.electrodynamics-of-special-relativity.com/Aspect-s-Experiment.

Essentially, Aspect demonstrated through his experiments that the Universe is non-local. Paired photons respond to changes to each other at distances that defy the speed of light. Einstein and his colleagues Boris Podolsky and Nathan Rosen developed the EPR thought experiment as proof that the Uncertainty Principle of quantum physics was wrong. The Aspect experiments proved that Quantum Physics is a complete theory and that Einstein was wrong.

This is a very deep and non-intuitive idea that the Universe is nonlocal. It goes against our observations of Reality at the macro level. Nonetheless, nonlocality is correct at the quantum level. More on this subject in our next blog posting.
